This document explains how we collect and use personal information through this website and the measures taken to protect it.  Please read and understand this Privacy Policy as by using this website, we assume you have agreed that:

a. We may collect the information specified in this Privacy Policy;

b. We may store and use the collected information for as long as required;

c. The privacy laws where you live may be different from the privacy laws that apply where this website is based or administered; and

d. Unless you specifically tell us not to, we may freely use this information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy including direct marketing to you.

We will not knowingly pass this information on to any third party except to supply products or services you have specifically requested.

How is information collected?

As part of its normal operation, our system collects generic demographic and user profile information to make using, accessing and improving this website easier. This information may include the address of the website that referred you to us, your internet service provider, e-mail address and your navigational patterns while on the website.

What about information you give us?

If you choose to register on the website or order products or services offered through this or an affiliated website, we may ask you to provide us with information through on-line forms. This information may include a website-specific user name and password, your full name, telephone, and cell/mobile telephone number, e-mail address, postal address or credit card details. You may decline to provide any of this information. However in doing so, it may not be possible for us to provide the product or services you have requested.

How does our system remember you?

Our system automatically provides your browser with a ‘cookie’.  A ‘cookie’ is a small piece of data stored on your computer’s hard drive (in the browser settings) and contains user-specific information. This information is used by our system to remember you so you do not have to re-enter all your details every time you visit our website. A ‘cookie’ does not include any personally identifiable information you may provide us while on our website.

You can remove or delete a ‘cookie’ at any time through your browser. Please bear in mind that by doing so you may be limiting your access to the website and we may not be able to provide you with products or services you have previously requested from us.

Is the information we collect secure?

Any information you supply will be protected both on-line and off-line and will only be available to anyone on a ‘need-to-know’ basis. Anyone who has a legitimate ‘need-to-know’ is aware of the sensitivity and confidentiality of this information and has agreed to adhere to this Policy.  Any servers on which we store your personally identifiable information are protected with suitable hardware and software and housed in a secure location to prevent unauthorized access.

Are you under 18?

We do not wish to collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. You should not enter any information on this website if you are under 18 years of age.

What about linked websites?

As we have no control over the content or behaviour of any websites that are referred to on www.drstephenhardy.com, please review their Privacy Policies separately.
